    The Elliotts first appearance of 2012 at Legacy Lanes coincided with the 20th anniversary of the annual Great Guinness Toast.  A great crowd was on hand as usual at Legacy and 3 1/2 hours of classic rock was performed by the band.

    News and Notes…A special promotion from Guinness Beer was featured during the show,  as bars across the nation were to read a special speech at precisely 11:00pm, toasting “Great beer and great friends”….John donned a hugh Guinness hat during the speech, holding up a pint of Guinness, saying his usual “Cheers Everybody, Cheers!”…Scott was under the weather, but made it through the night…the band performed Neil Young’s “Ohio” for the first time, which came after Young’s “Cinnamon Girl”…Billy sang “With A Little Help From My Friends” for the first time at Legacy, and was a big hit…Dave “the Captain” got up on stage with the band and played tambourine with the Beatles ”Birthday” song… crowds continued to pack Legacy for the show, as this was their 6th time there with several more due this year

    The Elliotts had their first gig of 2012 at the Baltimore House in Pleasant Hills, PA. on Saturday, January 28.  It was the first time there for the band, and a great turnout of “Elliott Nation” took over the place! The Baltimore House, a seafood/sushi restaurant, features a second level stage for the band with the dance floor and bar area below.  From the Beatles to the Rolling Stones to the Who, the Elliotts cranked out some classic tunes to the audience to enjoy!  The band is next booked there again in April so stay tuned for details on their next appearance at the Baltimore House.

    News and Notes…The Elliotts next appearance at Legacy Lanes in Baldwin on Friday, February 17 will coincide with “National Guinness Day” as Guinness Beer will be featured at Legacy.  A 9PM start time for that one and will feature specials and prizes.  Legacy owner Dave Schultz will read some sort of Guinness speech at 11:00PM to the audience.  What he has to say nobody knows, so come up and see the Elliotts rock and have a pint of Guinness Beer!  (Billy O, everyones’s favorite drummer, should be loving this one!)…this will be the first appearance at Legacy this year.  The Band had 5 appearances there last year, and is a favorite venue for the boys to play…remember to get your Elliott t-shirts or hoodies, available at shows or online so get yours today!
